The existing one story masonry building located in Ukrainian Village was renovated into a space for an industrial designer and a flower shop on a pedestrian oriented section of Chicago Avenue. The original brick and limestone facade was restored. The front infill glass facade was set five feet back from the sidewalk to expand the entry sequence and provide outdoor space for the businesses. A new all-glass storefront was built behind the original masonry piers. The original decorative terrazzo and stone floors were polished and sealed to preserve the character of the 100 year-old space.
